Whether you are new to Burcham Elementary or just new to PTA — we are glad you are here! PTA is a great way to get involved in the life of our community.
Here's how to get started:
1—Register on this site
Our PTA subscribes to Membership Toolkit —an online service that empowers us to make purchases, complete paperwork, and coordinate our volunteer efforts —all online. The goal is to save time, and work together more smoothly! The software is secure, easy to use, and free to families.
Click the “Register” button below and follow the prompts.
Verify your email, then tell us about your family. (You can specify what information you'd like to appear in the directory — or choose not to appear at all.)
Once registered, you can:
- Join our PTA online
- Sign-up to receive important communications
- Complete your directory information
- Purchase spirit wear
- Volunteer
- Donate
- Access the online directory (for PTA members only)
- Access to resource pages just for our families and members
Signing up with Membership Toolkit is not the same as joining the PTA.
2—JOIN PTA!
Once you are registered with Membership Toolkit, join PTA for the current school year!
Why join PTA? PTA provides a way to support students day-to-day in meaningful ways, volunteering and meetings are optional! Anyone, regardless of where you live, can join the Burcham Elementary PTA. Parents, students, grandparents, business owners, friends, etc. Memberships are good for the current school year (Aug 1, 2024 - July 31, 2025).
Memberships are $10/person for the school year.
3—Stay informed!
Burcham Elementary PTA has a private Instagram page and a Facebook page—which we use to share information that is of general interest. Burcham also has a private Facebook group (I Love a Bobcat), where we discuss things as parents. Click to join!
4—Use your powers for good!
Whether you have 30 minutes— or larger chunks of time— your willingness to volunteer makes a big difference in the life of our school! Most Burcham volunteers work full or part time, which makes everyone's service extra important!
If volunteering will take you beyond the front doors at Burcham Elementary, you will need to complete a VIPS application.
